Conflict
The major conflict in the book Diable is that Diable hates Leclere and Leclere hates him. They have hated each other since the day they met in a pet store. Leclere keeps Diable even though he hates him because he wants to tame him. This just adds to the conflict even more. But if that's not bad enough, every time Leclere finds something Diablo hates, like music, he will use it to aggravate him intentionally.
I thought this resembled Diable howling.
